The official video of the successful Sydney Flash Mob Freeze staged on June 24th 2008 by the sydneyflashmob.com crew, and inspired by Improv Everywhere.
The event attracted over 2,200 'mobbers' to Hyde Park in Sydney at 12:00 midday, and the group was split up across two locations: Martin Place and Pitt Street Mall. After synchronising watches, all participants made their way to their locations and blended in with the general busy daytime public, and at exactly 12:40pm all participants froze mid-pose, and then suddenly re-animated at exactly 12:43.
The event received national news coverage, and thanks to the success of this event we do plan bigger and better things for the future so stay tuned!
