MacWorld 2009: Apple New MacBook Pro Battery Technology

New Battery Technology introduced by Apple. First announced at MacWorld 2009 and put in the new MacBook Pro 17". Lasting for about 5 years, rechargeable up to 1000 times, up to 8 hours of battery use. Unfortunately the battery can't be removed by the user itself like you can with the MacBook and MacBook Pro 15". However, Apple is also offering a take-back and recycling program if you need to replace the battery.
